It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
Great weathered and very tapered pub look
Bought hat for wife. Not sure of size. Bought one of each with intent to send one back.
Bought S & M.... still too small. Wife has a lot of hair. Loved the hat so much kept S for myself. Easy return. So I sent back theM to exchange for L. Put it in the mail at own expense.
Informed that Conner does not do exchange and needed an RMA #. So to expedite i purchased a L, expecting a credit for the return.
Rec'd new purchase (L).
Then got the exchange back. Now have too many hats.
But....... love the product and love the great people at Conner Hats! We'll keep them all!
Great cap, I ordered it one size larger so that it would not feel tight on my head. It is such a comfortable fit that I forget I am wearing a hat.
I also like the fact that Conner's carries larger sized hats. Have purchased hats from them in the past and will be doing so in the future.
I like the style of the hat very much and it fits well. However, I'm not a fan of the elastic band at the front of the brim. While it does allow the had to fit somewhat better, the fabric is itchy and irritating to my forehead after an hour or so.
I had a flat cap before, but once I put on the Merrik cap I have pretty much abandoned my old flat cap.
This hat fits extremely well, it's comfortable, and it's sleek.
You'll enjoy the experience of wearing this hat, trust me.
