It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
Fits comfortably. Looks great. Makes you feel like a man of the world...!
The first one was purchased in a store in Santa Fe. Bought again directing from Conner Hats. He loves it!
It is a great rain hat. It is crushable and shapes as needed. My only point that did not expect is discolors where my finger prints press a bit...But, it is cotton...I have a feeling will actually fade and look even better with usage. Reserving that one point, I give it 4 out of 5, but still very highly recommend it.
I am a woman who loves this style of hat, and often find women's hats to be either too fragile or too stiff for an every day hat. This fits exactly what I pictured. I measured my head before purchase, though the hat is still a little big. The included spacers helped a bit. I really like this hat, even moreso than the brown hat I originally had first.
I have purchased several safari type hats over the years and I believe that this Conner Hat is the best so far. I ordered a little big but the supplied spacer make it just about right. Thanks
