Care Instructions

Straw hats can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic to our waterways.

Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.

Many of our straw hats come with a wire in the brim so you can shape the hat to match your style. With a little practice you can reshape your hat brim easily. Western styles are generally worn with the brim turned up on the sides and Australian style hats look great with a dip in the front and the back.

This hat is one of the rare shape hat in the market.I used to have a hold hat of approximately the same style.It lasted almost 15 years and I used to take great care of it because it is not easy to find the same one after a long time.

Nice Hat

I have another hat from many years ago. I wanted another newer one and am very pleased with this one. The only thing is I ordered the same size as my other one but this one fits right. I am hoping that it will loosen up with wear. Still, it is well made and looks great.

Straw summer hat

Received in good shape. I have many hats made of the same material. This hat is somewhat "lighter weight than expected" compared to others...... I create custom beaded hatbands, not sure if the hat will adequately support the band weight without colapsing on the sides, we'll see !
Otherwise, it has a nice shape and looks good so far !
