Care Instructions

Using a lint brush or the adhesive side of tape will remove dust and dirt on wool hats. If your wool hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.

Even Better than the last hat I bought

The color is a rich black and the felt looks better than what I paid for it. I have seen hats in expensive department stores that look like costume props compared to this hat!! One of the first things I did was apply the wax sold on this site for extra protection and easy cleaning. I just need a quick brushing and all is like new. I am going to be sad when summer comes and I need to switch to a straw hat.

Fantastic, durable, weather resistant, comfy, and attractive hat

I’m from Vancouver. It rains a lot here. Since I got this hat it’s been a fantastic addition to a good raincoat and has fared well against several heavy rainfalls. And it looks great and is warm and comfy to boot! I only wish if also came in grey to allow for more formal occasions.
